About

Journalist Tatyana Scandrick started Lennox Mag as a side project because she was fascinated by the individual paths of people. What began as a few brief biographies has grown into a specialized area where readers may read gripping biographies, hear voices they may not have heard, and learn more about the subtleties of names they may have assumed they knew. Since its debut in December 2024, Lennox Mag has developed into a premier source for succinct, captivating profiles that highlight people from a variety of backgrounds. These profiles are published several times a week.

Mission & Vision

  • Amplify Real Stories: We think everyone has a story worth telling. Lennox Mag aims to highlight the human side of every story, whether it’s a well-known brand with a unique twist, an up-and-coming talent, or an underappreciated community leader.

  • Build Connections: We hope to create a connection between reader and topic by selecting biographies that cover generations, occupations, and geographical locations, transforming a cursory read into something that speaks to the reader on a personal level.

  • Stay Concise, Stay Impactful: Life is fast. We aim to provide well-researched, digestible profiles in 2–4 minutes. While waiting for the bus or having coffee, you can learn something new.

About the Author

Lennox Mag has one editor, writer, and curator, Tatyana Scandrick. Tatyana, a magazine journalist and personal narrative enthusiast, researches each subject’s childhood, profession, and lesser-known stories. Her personal approach—contacting interviewees or searching local archives—ensures that every profile goes beyond Wikipedia-style information. When not writing, she explores neighborhood coffee shops, sketches in a Moleskine, or plans her next road-trip documentary.

What We Cover

Currently, Lennox Mag focuses exclusively on People—meaning profiles, life stories, and personal journeys:

  • Emerging Voices: Up-and-coming activists, indie musicians, and grassroots organizers making waves in their communities.

  • Legends & Icons: Established public figures whose backstories reveal surprising influences.

  • Hidden Histories: Lesser-known individuals—like centenarians, local heroes, or trailblazers whose contributions have flown under the radar.

  • Timely Tributes: Commemorations of birthdays, career milestones, or anniversaries that invite reflection on someone’s legacy.

Every entry is tagged by publication date and archived monthly, so you can navigate “June 2025,” “May 2025,” or earlier archives to see how our coverage has evolved over time.

To get a sense of what we do, here are a few recent highlights:

A deep dive into Janet’s professional pivots and personal passions—revealing why she remains off most radars despite a remarkable career.

  • Jeanette Lucci: A Century-Long Life (May 31, 2025)
Born March 19, 1917, Jeanette lived through seismic changes in the 20th century—her memories provide an intimate window into times gone by.
